The year obviously got off to a bad start for Camilo Villegas. A victim of a phone-in disqualification at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions cost Villegas momentum to start the year. He made an equipment change from Cobra Golf to TaylorMade, which may have required more of a transition than the Colombian thought. Ever since Henrik Stenson stripped down at the WGC CA Championship in March 2009, it has been largely a rough go of it for the Swede. Outside of his win at The Players that May, Stenson’s best PGA Tour finish was a third place in the 2010 Open Championship. In a January auction, Adams Golf bought the assets of Colorado-based Yes! Golf, which had filed for bankruptcy liquidation November 2010. Though they are as close as a player-caddie duo can be, Dustin Johnson and Bobby Brown are no longer working together. Johnson’s agent confirmed the split to GolfChannel.com’s Rex Hoggard.
