The US Open saw a new champion this year as Graeme McDowell finished with a 3-over-par 74 on Sunday. It finally finished with a one-shot win over Frenchman Gregory Havret at Pebble Beach. In an interesting play, the San Francisco Giants overpowered the Baltimore Orioles 10-2 Monday night. Pat Burrel homered twice in four days, while Freddy Sanchez pulled in four runs to help the Giants pass the Orioles.
